Competition for Collaborative R&D Funding: Sepsis I: Multi-pathogen detection

The Technology Strategy Board, in partnership with the Department of Health (DH), is to invest up to £5m in collaborative research and development projects to develop point-of-care (POC) diagnostic tools to assist clinicians and health workers in the management of sepsis.

The Scope of the competition includes the development of devices capable of detecting multiple pathogens and devices for distinguishing between bacterial, viral and fungal infections
