Centre for Health Science welcomes new companies into its state of the art facility

The Centre for Health Science Company is delighted to announce the addition of two new health related companies into its state of the art building.  Albasoft Ltd, a clinical informatics company, has taken up dedicated office space and Health Science Solutions Limited, a recent business start up, is taking advantage of the Centre’s new virtual office
facilities for an initial period of 6 months.

Lindsey Moodie, Business Development Manager for the Centre for Health Science Company said “These companies are a welcome addition and add to the growing mix of organisations and activities already present within the Centre for Health Science.  We recognise that businesses continue to face challenging economic conditions and are delighted that Albasoft and Health Science Solutions have taken the step to move into the Centre.  The Centre has been set up to encourage interaction and innovation and we hope these businesses thrive within this environment.”

Mr Dave Kelly, Director of Albasoft, states “The Centre for Health Science presented the right environment to grow our business; we already work with a number of the other organisations so we hope by locating here it will lead to more
collaborative opportunities and further the growth of our company.”  Mr Gerry MacNeil who recently set up his company Health Science Solutions Limited said “I often travel for my work so opted for the virtual office facilities at
the Centre for Health Science as it provided a business address and flexible base for my new venture.  As a sole trader I am looking forward to tapping into the community of expertise as well as making new business contacts through the various networking events on offer.”

This news comes as a result of new initiatives that were introduced to help young and ambitious companies in the health and life science sector to realise their business potential in an innovative and supportive environment.  In
addition to dedicated business units the Centre for Health Science introduced virtual office and hot desk (rent-a-desk) arrangements to offer businesses flexible leasing arrangements with affordable, all-inclusive packages. These options provide access to facilities, infrastructure, meeting rooms and support that bigger, established businesses benefit from but without the need to commit to large, expensive premises and lengthy lease terms.

The Centre for Health Science is the only incubator building dedicated solely to health science related organisations in the H &I region and offers an innovative and collaborative environment for companies.  Whether you are starting up, expanding or looking to relocate your business, the Centre for Health Science has the flexibility to meet your needs.  The state of the art building also boasts meeting rooms, a cafe, library, courtyard and access to a community of
expertise and networking events.
