New research funding opportunities
The Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation (EME) programme has launched a commissioned workstream which is funded by NIHR with contributions from the CSO in Scotland and NISCHR in Wales.
This workstream aims to further develop innovative and novel healthcare treatments and tests which address priority areas of unmet need in health science.
The first call for research proposals is in the field of diagnostics to support stratified medicine.
The EME programme is interested in receiving proposals in the field of stratified medicine that focus on the development, understanding, or use of diagnostic or predictive tests or algorithms. Research may investigate any type of technology, used individually or as a potential companion diagnostic. Full details of the commissioning brief can be found on the EME website http://www.eme.ac.uk
The deadline for applications is 1pm on 27 July 2011.
For any further enquiries please contact the EME team: 023 8059 4303 or info@eme.ac.uk
