How do we identify relevant conferences and exhibitions?

I came across this site recently whilst trawling the web for 2012 conferences.  You simply register your fields of interest and then it sends email alerts when a relevant event is announced. It works pretty well for us, but maybe you have better ways of doing this? If so, I'd be interested to hear them.See More

Our first 100 members

We've cracked the 100 member landmark on Life Sciences Scotland community site. Not exactly the biggest group on the web, but it's a start. The official launch will be on Thursday, at the Life Sciences Awards Dinner, so we'll hope for a few more recruits after that.

And we've made some changes in response to the 'beta testing' feedback, added more groups and even seen one or two Huddle Workspaces set up. There's even an FAQ discussion forum - so if there's something you want to do… Continue

This could be really good. oftentimes we all tend to meet at some event or another then months pass. Real time stuff like this, has the potential to spark some lively discussions in an area we all are interested in.
