Event Description

Scottish MedTech...real life examples, lessons learned?

On behalf of Scottish Enterprise we are pleased to invite you to attend a Life Sciences Scotland MedTech Forum in Aberdeen on 25th March 2010.

You have a UNIQUE opportunity to hear the case studies of two Scottish Medtech companies, NMT (Safety Syringes) and AorTech (heart valve and critical care products) who were previously shining stars in this sector yet who did not fulfill their early promise. Find out what they did right..hear what they could have done better, from Directors who lived through the journey.

Learn about the future plans for B1 Medical and how it aims to be an ongoing success.

In addition, this is a great opportunity to learn about the work being undertaken at the RGU Institute for Health and Welfare Research and look at how Gene Spark became established and hear of how multi-disciplinary approach is helping deliver Cystinosis research into better shape for commercialisation.
