This one day meeting aims to bring together the academic life sciences and commercial communities with genetic biobanks to explore how they can be used to support research, development and innovation. Speakers from academia, biotechnology and pharma will talk about the bioresources available and how they are being used to build knowledge and understanding of biology and disease; develop biomarkers and in drug development. This meeting will also explore the long term opportunities and strategic development required if we are to attract academic and commercial investment as we enter the era of stratified medicine. It will also offer an excellent opportunity for networking within and across bioresource
and life science communities.
