Event Description

Nexxus invites you to attend the inaugural meeting of the Glasgow Orthopaedic Research Initiative (GLORI). This daylong meeting will showcase both clinical and academic research for the Orthopaedics field in Glasgow and will present an excellent networking opportunity for clinicians and academics central to the field to meet and discuss potential collaborations. Keynote speakers include Professor Tim Briggs, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust, Stanmore and Professor Hamish Simpson, University of Edinburgh.

This meeting is designed to encourage and support orthopaedic-related research in Glasgow. Trainee and experienced clinicians alike can gain from this effort to link clinical and academic groups, toward increasing orthopaedic research funding in Glasgow. Get involved, come along to this launch meeting and contribute to the development of annual research talks by clinicians and scientists working as part of the GLORI initiative.
