Event Description

As the leading trade fair in the industry, MEDICA presents a comprehensive insight into technical and medical innovations. It offers the ideal platform for experts in the field and service providers in medical care to catch up on the latest products, services and innovations.

This year Scottish companies can get more VALUE THAN EVER OUT OF MEDICA!

The Healthcare Sector Group of the Enterprise Europe Network (hosted by Scottish Enterprise) will organise a Business Brokerage Event at MEDICA 2011. The aim is to assist Scottish enterprises, Universities and Research Institutions in finding partners in Europe for product development, manufacturing and licensing agreements, joint ventures or other types of partnership.

In addition, in the same Hall (6) as the Business Partnering run by EEN, Scottish participants can also benefit from Scottish Development International (SDI) support whilst at MEDICA with access to the Scottish Pavilion including exhibitor space and access to facilities on the pavilion including refreshments, internet access and a private meeting room.

How to participate

If you are interested in taking part, you must register http://www.b2match.eu/medica2011 and provide a technology profile describing either a technology offer or a technology request. This will be published in the online catalogue of the Brokerage Event.

Deadlines

Registration and Submission of profiles: 2nd November 2011

Online selection of fact-to-face meetings: 7th November

Cost

A participation fee of 200 EUR + VAT profiles) will be charged to each participating organisation

submitting profiles. A fee of 40 Euro will be charged for each further profile.

Start-ups (established on or after 1/1/2007 will be granted a rebate of 50%. A copy of certificate of registration (or similar) must be sent to medica2011@zenit.de . The fee will be invoiced upon registration. 

The fee does not include the MEDICA entrance ticket.
