Discussing the latest advances in the pathophysiology of food allergies and hypersensitivities, and strategies for successful treatment and management. Food hypersensitivities are a significant and growing health problem in the developed world with a substantial impact on quality of life. Understanding the factors triggering food hypersensentivities and the mechanisms underlying their development, alongside methods for early and accurate diagnosis, are important for the advancement of successful treatment and management strategies. This cross-disciplinary meeting will bring together the latest research and clinical experience across the food hypersensitivity spectrum, including food allergies and intolerances, irritable bowel syndrome, and coeliac disease.
